Ohio Hybrid Death Cafe May 2026
Join us for a heartfelt and open conversation about death, dying and the richness of life in a welcoming space at the Sebring Branch or online. This group is inspired by the global movement at Death Café where you can also choose to join as a Zoom participant. A Death Café offers a safe, non-judgmental environment where people of all backgrounds can come together to explore the topic of mortality with honesty, curiosity and compassion.
Whether you are grieving, curious, preparing, or simply seeking a connection, this gathering invites you to share your thoughts, listen deeply, and reflect on what it means to live fully in the face of death.
What to expect:
- A warm, inclusive space facilitated by a Librarian and Death Doula Papa J
- No agenda, and no selling of anything, just real conversation
- Gentle prompts to guide discussion, if needed
- Respect for all voices and experiences
- Optional sharing-listening is just as welcome
Who this group is for: Anyone interested in talking about death in a supportive, open-hearted setting. You don't need any experience, just a willingness to be present. Refreshments will be available.
